Bands, not guesses - your price is fixed once you accept it, based on what you declare, not a survey. For larger or complex moves we may offer a free video survey to check it matches; it only changes if the job itself differs, and we tell you before continuing. If your plans change, your deposit is fully refundable when you cancel within 14 days of booking.
How containerised storage works
Storage - the details
What if my chain collapses on the day?
We load, seal and store, and you pay storage from that day only. There is no penalty and no rebooking fee for the onward move.
Can I get to my things while they are stored?
Yes, with 24 hours' notice. An access fee applies because a forklift has to bring the container down - we will confirm the exact amount when you book.
How long can I store for?
A week to several years. Anything over 12 weeks moves to a cheaper long-term rate - ask when you book.
How much does storage cost per week?
From £18 a week for a few items up to £68 for a three-bedroom house's worth. A studio is £26 a week, a one-bedroom £32 - the same per-size bands as the move price itself.
Is my storage insured?
Yes - covered to £50,000 as standard while it's with us, the same cover level as the move itself. The container is alarmed and monitored for the whole time it's stored.
Can I store just a few items, not a whole house?
Yes - our smallest band is priced from £18 a week, the same 'few items' size used for a small move.
Do you charge extra to move me in and out of storage?
No - if we're moving you in and then out again later, the handling is included in the move price. There's no separate in-or-out handling fee on top of the weekly storage rate.
